Who are the Clients of Resource Connection? The Life After School program receives referrals from the local school districts in the Indiana counties of Huntington, Miami and Wabash. Life After School personalizes the program to the needs of each student. After students have completed the Life After School program they have the option of furthering education, or choosing employment services through Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services (a State agency). If the student chooses Resource Connection, we will provide the pre-employment, on-the-job and follow-up support they need to overcome their barriers and become valuable, productive employees. Qualifications of Resource Connection Employees All Resource Connection staff meet the State of Indiana's requirements for employment in this field of service. This includes educational or licensing requirements and passing a criminal history check, which is part of our own rigorous screening process. |
